DonorPerfect 3.15 Release

  • We’ve continued to make additional improvements to the integration with DonorPerfect and Constant Contact.
    • We’ve increased the number of concurrent nightly syncs.
    • We’ve modified the sync to handle duplicate email addresses.
  • Tribute donations contributed through DonorPerfect’s online forms can be processed with DonorPerfect’s notification feature to send either an email or letter notification on behalf of the donor.
  • We’ve corrected a bug that was causing only inactive Flag codes to display when the option to Show Inactive Codes was selected in Code Maintenance.

DonorPerfect Forms 1.25 Release

  • We’ve designed a new tribute modal. Donors can click to add a dedication and this will open a pop-up where they can add the tribute details. 
  • Our users can personalize text labels for the tribute feature on their forms. 
  • Dedication details can be viewed by the donor during the review before submitting a donation, on the confirmation page, and in the follow-up receipt. 
  • Our uses can choose which field to populate in DonorPerfect with the optional dedication message. 
  • Donors can opt to add a dedication message to their tribute gift through the online form.
  • Users can add additional tribute options (in honor, in celebration, in memory) to their online form. Users can also arrange an order for the tribute options.
  • Donors can elect to add contact information for a tribute notification to be sent to a friend or family member.
  • Users can add or remove the dedication message text box from the form. 
  • Users can set notification options on the form between mail or email. Users can also elect to let donors choose their preferred notification method, or users can turn off the notification options entirely.
  • Tribute donations will download into DonorPerfect.

DonorPerfect 3.13 Release

  • We have corrected an error that was preventing the Settlement Batch ID and Settlement Date from populating in DonorPerfect. This will allow for easier reconciliation between DonorPerfect and the processing gateway for our users.
  • We have completed a maintenance security update; user IDs that do not have access to the Home screen in DonorPerfect will not be able to view this screen.
  • Improvements were made to the performance and reliability of the Cons
    • We have corrected an issue that was causing time-outs during nightly syncs and data migration.
    • The sync has been updated to handle null values in the Street Address field.

DonorPerfect 3.12 Release

  • We have corrected an issue that was preventing all emails from being listed in the Segmentation feature when the “List all emails” option is selected.
  • The Direct Mail Plan feature has been removed as a module from DonorPerfect. All users are welcome to use the more advanced Segmentation feature which replaces this functionality.
  • The Basic Email feature has been removed from DonorPerfect. Please note, this does not impact any other email functionality we offer. DonorPerfect also integrates to Constant Contact, and all users are welcome to a free Constant Contact subscription for a more robust and effective email marketing tool.

DonorPerfect 3.10 Release

  • When you are assigning a flag to a constituent record, you can now toggle between “All” or “Selected” to see all available flags, or only the flags assigned to the selected constituent record.
  • We’ve corrected a bug that was allowing Monthly and Major donor badges on the Donor Profile to be visible to users without proper permissions.
  • We’ve made usability improvements to the selection filter module:
    • When users are editing a compound filter, the filter being edited will be excluded from the drop-down of filters.
    • If a filter exceeds the criteria limit, users will not be able to save it.
    • When creating a filter, the date value will be visible if applicable.
  • We’ve corrected a bug that would allow users to send multiple thank you emails if they inadvertently click “Send” multiple times.

August 22, 2024

DonorPerfect 3.9 Release

  • We have added a link to GiveCloud on the main navigation tab, under the Apps menu. This is a partner product and gives users easy access to their site.
  • In response to our users’ feedback, we have made Flags easier to use. Now, the field will show all flags, including both the code and the description, and we have reduced scrolling.
  • We have resolved a permissions error allowing users without permissions to modify flags on the main table of a donor record.
  • The Constant Contact integration has undergone some improvements to ensure the successful migration of data.
  • The consolidated receipt total is displaying correct totals based off of the receipt amount field.
  • The receipt number field updates correctly for all split gifts regardless of the selected receipt delivery preference.

DonorPerfect 3.8 Release

  • We have corrected an error that was preventing the contact page to load for donor records that had a large volume of contact transactions.
  • We also resolved a sync error between DonorPerfect and Constant Contact that was preventing the sync from happening for accounts with 50 or more campaigns.

Online Forms 1.22 Release

  • Our new online forms (drag and drop) product is available for our Canadian users.
  • Donors can enter Canadian mailing addresses through the drag and drop forms product.
  • A thank you code associated with an email template must be selected during the creation of an online form. This will ensure that all gifts are processed through DonorPerfect’s receipting module.
  • Organizations can make donations in their own name as opposed to through an individual. This will allow gifts to be attributed more accurately in DonorPerfect.

DonorPerfect 3.7 Release

  • The settlement batch ID and settlement date from the SafeSave Payments gateway will be downloaded to DonorPerfect during the nightly sync. This will make it easier for users to reconcile gifts between the gateway and DonorPerfect.
  • We’ve corrected a bug that was preventing SmartScreens from functioning properly.
  • We’ve made some improvements to our migration process to bring all users the newest integration with Constant Contact.

ReadySetAuction 4.13 Release

  • We’ve improved the invalidation messaging that users receive when a transfer of data between ReadySetAuction and DonorPerfect is stopped. This will help you better understand why there was an error during the transfer for a quicker resolution.
  • We’ve corrected an error that occurs when accessing the transfer screen if all types of transfers are disabled.
  • Donors in RSA that have a matching donor record in DonorPerfect will be correctly identified during a data transfer so that duplicate records are not created.
  • Users will be notified by an error message to enable at least one type of data transfer.
  • Emails detailing data transfer errors will provide an accurate count of records that were not transferred.

July 11, 2024

DonorPerfect 3.6 Release

  • We corrected a bug that was allowing passwords to remain valid past a set expiration date. Now, passwords will expire at the designated frequency, set by users in Advanced Security.
  • Users can search for filters by searching on the filter ID. This was implemented based on a Suggest and Vote idea submitted by our users.
  • We have corrected an error preventing reports from being saved when users clicked the “Save As” option.
  • We fixed a new bug related to the “Remember Me” functionality of our new multi-factor authentication feature. We were able to catch this bug thanks to our earlier adopters! Look for more news on this beta security feature soon.
  • Users can now send Crowdfunding emails using their own validated email domains.

DonorPerfect 3.5 Release

  • Easy report corrections:
    • We’ve resolved an issue that was causing a report to error if an included field prompt started with a quotation mark (“).
    • The easy reports total and grand total fields will respect the number of decimal places that are designated in Screen Designer.
    • When grouping by a field in an easy report, the field being grouped by will retain its formatting.
  • We’ve corrected an issue to ensure scheduled reports are sent at the designated time based on standard or daylight savings time and also based on the user’s time zone.
  • When running the Donation Forms Summary report and exporting the data using an export template, the report will only include gifts processed through DP Forms.
  • We’ve corrected an error that would occur when users attempted to import data into the Other Info comments field.
  • Users can import Unicode without error or data corruption.
  • All users can migrate to the new Constant Contact integration without error.

DonorPerfect 3.4 Release

BETA Feature – We are excited to announce the beta release of our new Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature. This is designed to enhance the security of your DonorPerfect account by adding an additional layer of protection. Users will be prompted to enter a one-time code sent to their email to ensure that even compromised passwords will not grant access to unauthorized users.

Corrections

  • We corrected a formatting issue in email templates to ensure that the consolidated gift list is properly presented.
  • Email templates will reflect any saved changes when sending email receipts.

DonorPerfect 3.3 Release

  • The following improvements relate to our Constant Contact Beta Integration:
    • We’ve corrected a data migration error that was causing users to get stuck in a pending or running status 
    • We’ve updated migration status messages for clarity
    • Users with insufficient privileges to authenticate to Constant Contact will be notified that their role does not contain sufficient privileges to authenticate. This will help ensure that an account owner or manager role performs the authentication so the Constant Contact integration and features can be used.
    • We’ve eliminated a bug that was causing the connection between DonorPerfect and Constant Contact to be lost during a data migration. 
    • Users can successfully edit manual and dynamic lists compromised of a large number of contacts (12,000 or more)
    • We’ve corrected an error that was causing some older email campaigns to halt data migration
    • We’ve corrected an error that was preventing users from editing Constant Contact lists
  • We’ve improved the performance time of the advanced combine feature in Merge Duplicates. 
  • Users with authenticated email domains can use these email addresses when sending emails from DPMobile.
  • We’ve improved the performance time of SmartActions.
  • Users can successfully submit UK Gift Aid reports to HMRC without error.

DonorPerfect 3.2 Release

  • Offline crowdfunding donation corrections:
    • We corrected a bug that was removing the option to apply a gift to a crowdfunding page when adding or editing an offline gift.
    • If a user adjusts the gift amount of an offline crowdfunding gift, the adjusted amount will be reflected in the crowdfunding goal and supporter list.
    • The solicitation field will be properly added or updated to offline crowdfunding gifts.
  • Inactive codes will no longer display for users without access to Code Maintenance, and they will also not display if the option to hide inactive codes is selected.
  • Users can successfully import organization records with no data in the First Name field, even if First Name is selected as a matching criteria.
  • Users can globally delete data from multi-select fields.

DonorPerfect 3.1 Release

This release focused on providing our users with reliability and introduced an improvement to DonorPerfect’s email features.

  • DonorPerfect email features have been updated. To ensure the best email deliverability, we’ve replaced the option to enter an email in the from address field with a drop-down email address that has a validated domain.
  • We corrected an issue that was preventing tribute details from merging into notification letters. 
  • We have updated the help menu to included access to on-demand webinars.
  • The fundraiser name and Individual form ID will now save when entering offline crowdfunding donations.
  • Users can successfully import comments into Other info transactions without error.
  • We’ve corrected an error that was preventing users from submitting Gift Aid reports. 
  • Users can print Batch Gift Entry reports without information being cutoff from the print out.

DonorPerfect 3.0.5 Release

  • The “Value Upon Merge” column in the duplicate merge advanced combine feature is now displaying values correctly.
  • When clicking “View Info Sheet” from the main page of a donor record, the Optional Line field is populating correctly.
  • We’ve corrected an issue so users can successfully generate Pledge Reminders.
  • The Gift Date field can be successfully populated through a gift import.
  • We’ve relocated the “Add Split Gift” button for faster data entry. It now appears above the table of split gifts to reduce scrolling.
  • If a donor already has a flag, the import module will overlook that data point on the import file.
  • We’ve corrected an error that was causing a blank Insta-Charge modal to generate if a donor had a default payment method on file.

DonorPerfect 3.0.4 Release

Items being fixed in our next release:

  1. Membership categories do not update after an import if the import file contains gifts and the following settings are enabled in parameters:
    • Auto-calc membership category
    • Auto-calc membership enroll and expire dates
  2. Users are receiving an import error when ALL of the following conditions are met:
    • Import type is one of the following: Main records and gift transactions, Main records and pledge transactions, Main records and contact transactions, or Main records and other info transactions.
    • The import file does NOT contain Donor IDs
    • Record matching is enabled 
    • Two or more records in the import file are the same donor
    • Two or more records have additional transaction information (gift, pledge, contact, other info)
    • The donor record is matched to an existing record in DonorPerfect

Workaround: Contact support, they will assist you in reverting your system back to the previous version of DonorPerfect until these issues are corrected in our next release.

Items fixed in this release:

  • The lapsed donor status indicator on the donor profile appears in green.
  • The asterisk denoting a required field will now remain properly positioned, even for fields with long names.
  • The “Update Receipt Number” checkbox has been removed from the instant merge modal of a main record.
  • Users can now uncheck the option to “share with everyone” from the instant merge screen of a donor’s main tab without encountering an error.
  • Clicking to activate or deactivate a code in Code Maintenance will no longer cause a redirection to page one of available codes.
  • An issue preventing users from saving or canceling when adding a new Link code has been resolved.
  • Error messages encountered in Batch Gift Entry can now be closed successfully.
  • The BCC email address has been restored to the mailto link in the donor profile.
  • If there are errors in an import file, error details will generate, allowing the user to make corrections and attempt to import the file again
  • You can successfully post gifts to QuickBooks with the Sync Donors option, without error.

Ready Set Auction 4.12.2 Release

This release focuses on corrections that will ensure users and auction attendees and a seamless experience.

  • We have made sure the copyright information is properly centered.
  • We have corrected the link for “View Our Jumpstart Directory” so that users can access this feature successfully.
  • Users can accept donations from their inbox successfully and a new inventory tag will be assigned to the item. 
  • Users can complete transfers of data to DonorPerfect without timeout issues.
  • When donors click “All Items” on an event website, the accurate number of available packages will display. We have also corrected an issue that was causing an inaccurate number to display if the option to hide won or sold out packages was selected.

DonorPerfect 3.0.3 Release

This release features improved usability based on feedback from you, our customers.

  • We have added extra space to the address line 1 field for more character visibility. 
  • We’ve updated the highlight color of the selected field for higher contrast and easier visibility. 
  • When you are looking up a tribute name, you can type the name and hit enter on your keyboard to produce search results.
  • Report tables have alternate row shading to make long lists easier to read.
  • We’ve reinstated tooltips. These are information blurbs that will appear if you hover over field names. 
  • Multi-select fields are more compact to reduce scrolling.
  • If you see a question mark icon on a screen, simply hover your mouse over it to see additional information. 
  • We’ve made the Receipts module easier to read with an updated layout.
  • Search results are now extended to the bottom of the page to make it more intuitive to scroll for additional results.
  • We resolved a bug that was preventing users from posting to QuickBooks.

DonorPerfect 3.0.2 Release

This release focuses on improving DonorPerfect’s reliability. We’ve handled a lot of bug fixes from our most recent release. Here is a summary of the tasks we performed in the list below.

  • We’ve corrected an error that was causing the instant merge feature to fail.
  • Date fields and the date picker icon will be correctly hidden when a SmartScreen is configured to hide these fields.
  • You can successfully post gifts to QuickBooks Online without error.
  • You can send an email from the gift screen using the thank donor function without error, even when the email template contains a tribute function.
  • When entering a split gift, the balance will remain in red, until you have fully distributed the gift total.
  • You can successfully use the “copy address” button on the main page of a donor record.

DonorPerfect 3.0.1 Release

We improved the  appearance of the Donor Profile  based on feedback and fixed some bugs to make sure DonorPerfect stays an easy to use product you can rely on. 

  • We’ve restored the option to upload a picture using the Donor Profile. 
  • We enlarged the Donor ID font size to make it easier to read. 
  • There is more space in the donor notes field, allowing you to see more information at a glance.
  • We’ve adjusted the layout of both the Donor ID page through option and the show/hide donor profile to reduce scrolling. 
  • Vertical spacing between fields has been condensed to reduce scrolling while the space between the field and the prompt have been increased to make it easier to read.
  • The ZIP Code field is large enough to see zip code + 4 digits. 
  • The font size of dropdown fields has been increased for readability and consistency with the rest of DonorPerfect.
  • When users select or deselect the Organization Record? field, all other fields remain static. 
  • All users with correct permissions can see and apply codes from multi-select fields to donor records.
  • The online forms summary report runs smoothly without any errors.

DonorPerfect 3.0 Release

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to give DonorPerfect the updated look you’ve been asking for. You’ll notice changes like new donor profiles, higher contrast color schemes, and fonts to modernize your system.

While we’ve been building a better-looking DonorPerfect, we’ve also been making vital updates to ensure the security of your data.

We have exciting plans for the months ahead as we continue to improve the DonorPerfect you know and love.

User Improvements

  • Login page experience is new
  • Users can tab through the navigation with a keyboard 
  • Updated icons throughout DonorPerfect
  • Option to show/hide the DonorProfile is shifted to the top right corner
  • Donor ID is at the top center of the page, as is the option to click through Donor IDs

DonorPerfect Forms 1.16 Release

Enhancements

  • You can create multiple links for the same online form, each with a different default gift amount to streamline the segmentation process for you and the donation process for your donors.

  • When you access Hidden Fields, the screen will read, “select field” instead of “select code”

Constant Contact Release

We’ve updated the Constant Contact integration with DonorPerfect. This update has streamlined how information is shared between our two applications, making it a more intuitive experience for our users.

*When users first open Constant Contact through DonorPerfect post release, the user will need to re-authenticate. Please refer to our Knowledgebase for further instructions on how to do this.

  • We know how important it is to you to make sure you have the latest information about your donors’ activity in DonorPerfect when you are building relationships and measuring your results. Now, the email campaign results for opens and clicks will update in real-time.
  • You now have the option to sync with all of your lists in Constant Contact or just the dynamic lists that automatically update from DonorPerfect.
  • Based on your feedback, we simplified the sync so that all lists (dynamic and manual) will update Constant Contact with the latest donor information you have in DonorPerfect.
  • Now, you can sync an individual list on demand instead of waiting for a nightly sync to occur.
  • Marketing automation can unlock incredible donor journeys that improve donor engagement and success without you having to send each email manually. You can now send your donors automatic and personalized emails based on DP data. For example, send all new monthly donors a series of 3 emails after they donate monthly through our DonorPerfect forms to welcome them and help them feel they have a special place in your sustainer community. 
  • You now have more control for how much email campaign history  you want to store in the DonorPerfect contact table. Simply choose any number of months, up to 2 years.
  • You can now map up to 50 of your powerful custom fields from DonorPerfect to Constant Contact.
  • Your donors are engaged if they are opening your emails but the best indicator is clicks. That’s why we’re now storing click data in DonorPerfect.

ReadySetAuction 4.10.2 Release

  • We’ve corrected an issue that was causing a new party to be created when users deleted tickets from a merged patron record.
  • We’ve resolved an error that occurs when downloading online procurement items. An error would result if the donor email used on the submission form matched an email in RSA but the associated last name or company name did not match.
    • Users will now have the opportunity to resolve this conflict and select to download the submission form information or download the donation item while keeping the donor information already in ReadySetAuction.
  • Users can now successfully delete credit cards for PayReady patrons.
  • We have resolved an issue that resulted in an error when checking in multiple bidders with the same phone number or email address on their patron records.
  • Users can edit or delete item categories when they are not in use.

DonorPerfect Donation Forms 1.15 Release

We’ve made some exciting usability changes to our donation forms. Our new features were the most requested by our users, and this release also features some improvements and corrections.

New Features

  • We have added text editors to the forms allowing you to customize the font and other text formatting options.
  • You can resize an image directly on the donation form.
  • You can preview a form and submit test donations allowing you to see the donor experience. You can also preview the form from a mobile viewpoint to mimic what your donor sees when accessing your form from a mobile device.

Improvements and Corrections

  • We are adding clear instructions and guidance (character limitations and exclusions) to creating custom URLs. 
  • Donors completing a form will be instructed to enter information into name and address fields if no data has been entered. This will prevent donors from receiving errors when submitting a donation.
  • We’ve increased the form name character limit to 500 characters. When you are within 50 characters of the limit, a remaining character count will generate to let you know you are approaching the limit.
  • When you toggle on the option to include impact statements on your forms, placeholder text will populate on the form to clarify that you have selected this option.
  • When a donor clicks on the phone number listed in the page footer from a mobile device, it will open the phone keypad, with the phone number already entered. If the donor clicks on the phone number from a desktop device, it will open any app designed to make phone calls.
  • We have resized the review donation button to be smaller when donors access the form from a mobile device.
  • If you change the color of a form, we will apply this color to the page footer as well to maintain a consistent color theme.
  • We have increased the size of the impact statement text when donors access a form from a mobile device.

DP Mobile Release

We’ve updated DP Mobile so that Android users with Android OS 13 can download and install the app from the Google Play store. Additionally, DP Mobile now supports Dark Mode, a light-on-dark color scheme.

WebLink 2023.01 Release

The WebLink (Online Forms) 2023.01 Release features increased fraud protection on our forms. When donor payments fail, our forms will return a generic error code. This will prevent the dissemination of information to individuals using the form fraudulently.

2023 DP 2.3.3 Release

The 2.3.3 Release features necessary corrections to ensure our standard reports are giving users accurate results. This release also features a number of corrections to DonorPerfect’s donation forms.

Report Corrections

  • Time stamp information has been removed from the Created Date field. This will allow users to filter and report on the field with accurate results.
  • The Month and Year to Date Summary (Fiscal) report will produce accurate results regardless of the default date format selected in system settings.
  • Corrections have been made to multiple gift/pledge reports that were causing duplicated gift transactions to appear in exported CSV files.
  • Users can export 1000+ donor records using the Top Donor Listing report successfully.
  • The Membership Status report has been adjusted and will display the correct number of new memberships in the drill-down details of the report.
  • Multiple corrections have been made to the AFP Key Donor Metrics report.
    • Calculations for the following segments are accurate: Upgrade Revenue, Same Revenue, and Downgrade Revenue
    • The As of Date at the top of the report is corrected
  • The sort order selected on the export template will be respected when data is exported.

Donation Forms Corrections

  • The salutation field will correctly populate in the thank you email if the user selects to use a DonorPerfect template.
  • The gift date of a transaction processed through a donation form will reflect the same date as when the donor submitted the transaction through the form.
  • Users can add two additional fields as hidden fields on a donation form. These fields are the Gift Solicitor field (GSOLIC) and the Fair Market Value field (FMV).
  • Tribute donations made through an online form will correctly download to DonorPerfect and link the gift to the tribute.
  • Membership fields will update when a gift is downloaded from an online form if the general ledger applied to the gift is associated with a membership.
  • All users with permissions can successfully create, edit, and publish forms.

2023 DP 2.3.2 Release

The 2.3.2 Release features a number of user efficiency corrections and helpful improvements to Selection Filters making it an even easier tool to navigate.

Corrections

  • DonorPerfect auto-fills data entry fields when designated to do so.
  • Compound filter criteria are easily viewable in the preview.
  • You can create and trigger SmartActions without error.
  • Searches return full and accurate results.

Improvements

  • We added a new filter operator that allows you to exclude multiple options when filtering on a coded field.
  • Simplified wording for the filter operators makes them easier to understand and identify how they affect the filter.
  • Additional helper text provides guidance to the user on how filter operators work and are intended to function.

2022 DP 2.2.7 Release

  • The alert icon will only appear if there are active alerts to attend to.
  • We renamed Batch 2.0 to Batch Gift Entry but accidentally left behind some Batch 2.0 references in the software. We have corrected this.
  • Gift lists included in email receipts will respect the number of decimals set for a field in the screen designer.
  • If a donor record has no history of gifts, the Last Contributed Amount and Number of Years Donated field will have a value of 0 instead of being left blank.
  • Gifts processed electronically through a SafeSave Gateway cannot be partially refunded until the gift has settled. Instead, you can void any gifts that have not settled yet.
  • Matching gifts created in Batch Gift Entry will not be added to a donor record until you post the gift batch.
  • Users with group security permissions set on the gift date field were encountering an error when the user saved a gift, the gift date would be deleted. We have resolved this issue.
  • SmartScreens combined with user group permissions were causing some fields to be hidden. We’ve made sure SmartScreens will work as intended.
  • Users can select any item from the Apps menu in the DonorPerfect navigation bar regardless of their browser’s width.
  • When using Thank Donor>Send a Letter from a gift record, DonorPerfect will include the correct number of decimals set for the field.
  • We’ve renamed our duplicate maintenance tool. We’ve replaced Duplicate Removal in User Management with Merge Duplicates.
  • We have corrected a sync error between DonorPerfect and Constant Contact. The two systems now sync properly and create contact transactions.

DonorPerfect Donation Forms 2022.8 Release

New

  • Donations downloaded through donation forms will be monitored for potential matches in DonorPerfect. If a match is found, DP Donation Forms will download the gift to the existing donor record.
  • DP Donation Forms will be added to User Security so the DonorPerfect administrator can provide or deny access to this feature.
  • Users can easily navigate between DonorPerfect, DP Donation Forms, and Online Forms through a clickable link in each product.

DonorPerfect Donation Forms 2022.4 Release

  • Donors can contribute Tribute gifts on donation forms.
  • Donors can request that an individual or multiple individuals be notified of a tribute donation.
  • Tribute gifts automatically download to DonorPerfect. If there is an exact match based on Tribute Type and Tribute Name, DonorPerfect will apply the gift to an existing tribute record.

DonorPerfect Donation Forms 2022.3 Release

PayPal is now an available payment option for DP Forms.

  • You can add an existing or create a new PayPal business account in the Payment Options section in DP Forms.
  • Donors can pay via PayPal balance or credit, the pay later feature, or use Debit/Credit.
  • PayPal gifts will receive a Payment Type of PayPal and a Gift Type of PayPal

Venmo is now an available payment option for DP Forms.

  • You can add an existing Venmo account to the payment options section in DP Forms.
  • Venmo gifts will receive a Payment Type of Venmo and a Gift Type of PayPal.

An alert will generate for users who refund or void a PayPal or Venmo donation in DonorPerfect with instructions to adjust the gift in PayPal or Venmo.

DonorPerfect 2022.2 Release

  • The Fundraising Goal feature is now live. You have the ability to add up to three Fundraising Goals on the Home Page.
  • You can now send emails via your preferred email provider through DonorPerfect. When you click on Send Email on the Main Page, you can select Via my Email and select your email provider.
  • Sending an email using “Via My Email” creates Contact Transactions. The system creates Contact Transactions to indicate when the email was sent and if there was a reply.
  • Gift Batch Entry – The Binoculars Icon is available when entering in Soft Credits for Batch Gift Entry.

DonorPerfect Donation Forms 2021.12 Release

  • Donation Forms will update the following fields when a donation is successfully submitted: Gift Fields, Main Fields, Pledge Fields.
  • These fields will be automatically populated for all gifts with a thank you letter code assigned, a default email template associated with the form, or a customized template associated with the form. It will also only update these fields if they are not already populated.
  • The Thank You Date and Thank You Email Letter Date Sent will automatically be populated with the current date when a receipt is generated and delivered by Donation Forms.
  • Receipts will automatically be sent for monthly and one-time gifts. Receipt fields will be automatically updated as well.*Note: If the email template assigned to the form, does not have an associated TY Code, the receipt fields will not be populated automatically.
  • TWhen a gift has a Thank-You letter code assigned, the default email sent from the donation form will be disabled so that donors are not receiving multiple communications.
  • The Email Receipt History Report will reflect a source code of DPForms when a thank you code has been assigned by a donation form.
  • When a donation form email template is used to send a receipt, the Thank-You letter field on the corresponding gift record will be updated to DPFORMSEMAIL.
  • On a donation form, you can now toggle between two choices for a confirmation email. You can create a custom email in the donation form, or apply a DonorPerfect email template.
  • You will have the option to assign a thank you letter code to the donation form.
  • Most recent customizations made to the default email template will be saved even if the option is deselected in favor of a DP Email template. If the default email template is re-selected, the assigned Thank You letter code will be automatically removed.
  • The Thank You Letter Code field will be restricted and not available to add as a custom field as it is already available under Settings.
  • Thank you emails will be automatically sent by Donation Forms when the default email template is being used. The thank-you email will be sent by DonorPerfect when a thank-you letter code is assigned and therefore a DonorPerfect email template is being used.
