With the new DonorPerfect donation forms, building a form that looks good and is user friendly for donors is now easier than ever. Check out some of the core steps to get you on your way to building an awesome form today.
With the Form Builder, I can edit the form my donors will see in real time. To start, I’m going to add an image to my form and use the eyedropper tool to add some color to my buttons and background. Then I’ll give the form a title that will resonate with my donors.
For both one time and monthly gifts, I can add suggested giving amounts and additional texts to remind voters of our mission and why it’s so important to donate. With each giving amount donors can easily see and imagine how they can make a real difference. For one time gifts I can add Pay Pal is an option under Payment Methods. Our new forms integrate with PayPal and I can link my paypal business account in seconds. Once linked, PayPal and Venmo will be giving options on my form for donors. If you don’t have a PayPal business account, you can enter PayPal signup process through our form builder. If I want to add a custom field to my form, like asking my donors where they want their gift directed, I can just add a drop down right on the form. I can also edit the values
my form includes the ability to ask donors to help offset my processing fees and by checking this box I can have them say yes by default. Next, I’ll add my contact info to the bottom of my form and publish it. Once published, I can edit my forms URL to make it shorter and more recognizable. Now I’m ready to share my form with a donor base
