it’s my job to keep the database clean and to avoid duplicates. And when donors send in donations, whatever type of donations whether they’re in kind or from our appeal or for our from our capital campaign, it’s my job to put them in the system and, and or keep them or keep them in a consistent manner, my job to clean up and make sure that there’s no duplicates and so forth, so that we can generate reports. The thing I like about DonorPerfect is that it is so user friendly, if you make a mistake, it’s not a problem, you can delete that and start over and the fact that DonorPerfect can do that. And it has so many other functions that I’ve kind of touched on a little bit, I can change an ad things that we want to track as well as remove things or make them inactive it’s just a phenomenal software.
We send out eblasts through constant contact which is can integrate with DonorPerfect which is another plus.
So we send out emails we send out we generate newsletters through our members and we we generate a RPO which would be an annual appeal we can generate that also through DonorPerfect to be able to pull people out and then and if somebody is deceased or are no longer wishes to receive anything from it, it’s easy to just eliminate those by not putting the no mail and then they don’t pop up on wait when we run a report
I have it set up at my home because I occasionally I’ll do work after work. And so I have it set up so I can work it in my home and and also at work or through any computer that you know if I need to sit down and pull something up. It’s quite easy.
