I’m finding out if you think you want it or need it, ask because quite possibly DPL can do it. And we didn’t know.
My name is Dana shocks, and I’m the database manager for the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. And we’re the largest food bank in the Sacramento area. And we help we average 45,000 clients a month that we help to feed, clothe and educate. I started in 2006 2007, excuse me, but I’m pretty much on an elementary basic level. Not too much in the reporting area to some kind of basic reporting and data entry. For several years. Recently, we’ve expanded, we’ve grown so much that I’ve been doing a lot more reporting and screen designing. And hence came the need for coming to this conference. The more I learned, the better I like it, because I’m finding that it does so much. I liked the fact that we can. We have many volunteers, and we like to, for them to only view and use what they need to so that it’s less confusing. They’re not as, as trained as a regular employees are. And so they have a habit by having a limited access, it makes their job easier to do. And it makes for better accuracy. I like to report things. I’m excited about this new advanced reporting that’s coming along. And I want to learn a whole lot more about that. Because we track everything. You name it, and we track it. And we can’t track that we want to learn how are they fantastic. I recently made a really big, big move. And the kind that just, you know, feeling the pit in your stomach. I deleted a field that should not have been deleted. And all of a sudden these reports that I was running was they were no good. The numbers were no good. They weren’t there, they were gone. And I called for help. And it took a couple of days that they figured out what my mistake was because I couldn’t even tell them at that point exactly what I had done. I wasn’t sure. And they found my mistake, and they were able to restore everything. And they were able to set up filters and some formulas, so that that wouldn’t happen again. And that I wouldn’t do that. And, and which which was awesome. But whenever I have a problem I call them. And I always think when I’m calling them to say Oh no, here it is Dana again. But they never do. They’re just fantastically wonderful and they’re always helpful. And I always end up getting help them it. So they’re just wonderful. We have a one to two classify our put a value on our in kind donations for auditing purposes. And we weren’t even sure that DonorPerfect could do that. And they’re helping us to be able to upload or to put in values behind the scenes. So it’s not seen to the user. When they enter donations, that boundary will be automatically assigned and which is just going to make it’s just our CFO is ecstatic
