Hello, welcome to our report option series, Introduction to SmartAnalytics webinar. At the end of this webinar, you’ll understand the Smart Analytics report writer and the benefits of using it. This webinar is not intended to replace the four hours of training required when SmartAnalytics is purchased, but rather, to get you excited about the possibilities. My name is Donna Mitchell, and I’ll be your trainer today. I look forward to doing this webinar for you.
So let’s take a look at what we’re going to be doing today. First, we’re going to tell you what smart analytics is. We’re then going to give you some reasons why you may want to use smart analytics, and we’re going to show you how to create a smart Analytics report with an extra added bonus of creating a chart that you can put on your dashboard. So what is the smart Analytics report writer? It is a robust report writing tool that’s available in DonorPerfect as an add in module now it allows you to choose exactly what data you want to see in a report, create customized dashboard widgets and include charts and gages in a report, and so much more. So let’s talk about some of the benefits of smart analytics before we go in to create a report, if you take a look at the report that I’m displaying here on the screen, you’ll notice that I have my gifts grouped by campaign. I’m actually seeing my solicitations. I can see the number of gifts per solicitation, as well as the gift total for each solicitation. I also get a total here. But what’s really cool is this chart so we can actually create charts that go into your reports themselves, and then ultimately, you can put those charts on your dashboard so you get to share the data you choose in the format you want with key stakeholders. You’ll be able to display custom reports and visualizations on your DonorPerfect dashboards. And you can also schedule the delivery of reports to anyone on a schedule of your choice. You’ll see here, I have another Gage, so this is another type of chart that you could display.
So let’s do a quick overview of smart analytics, so that you can see what is possible. And then we’ll go ahead and I will do a demo for you to show you how to create a report. So the first thing are the report types. There are three main report wizards in the writer itself. We have Express reports, advanced reports and cross tab reports, the advanced reports what we’re going to use today, because this allows us to create a chart. Next we’re going to create the report through a wizard. This is allows us to choose our sort, our filter and design of the report. When you go to run a report, there are five formats for your output. It can be output in HTML, which is cloud based, Excel, PDF, rich text format or CSV, comma separated value. And in addition to running your reports, you can also schedule them and place them on your dashboards. So before we jump into the demonstration, I just want to give you an overview of the steps that we’re going to be taking. This is my report. You’ll see again on the right, my report lists my campaigns, and they’re grouped by campaign. These are my gifts. I see the names of my donors, the date of the gift, the gift amount, and the solicitation code. So that’s what we’re going to build, and then ultimately we’ll be able to include a chart that can be included both in the report and then placed on the dashboard. So let’s jump into DonorPerfect and. Here we are in DonorPerfect. If you have smart Analytics, you would go to Reports and smart analytics. If you get a marketing splash page, that means you don’t have it, you can reach out to your client account manager to purchase that option. I’m going to click on smart analytics. And it displays this screen you’ll see in a moment. There we are. I like to expand it so that’s a little bigger to see, and I am going to make it slightly bigger, hopefully that’ll be easier for you to read. Now, just a quick tour of the smart analytics tool. First you’re going to see the plus sign on the top left. This would allow you to create any one of the reports that are listed in the the folder tree. You’re going to see different topics. The one folder you’ll read is called the name of your organization. So the name of my organization, or this database is training yours will be the name of your organization, ABD, ABC, foundation, for example. Once I open this, you’re going to then see all of the users that are in your donor, perfect system. Each user will have their own folder, and you’ll notice, if it’s not your folder, it’s going to be read only for you. So I am going to be able to look at the reports that are in there. I can run it. I can take a look at it if I want to, but I’m not able to edit anyone else’s report. Rather, if I wanted to use it, I could go in, go into Amanda’s and I would select the option, click the hamburger menu and then choose Duplicate. This would allow me to duplicate the report and use it for my own purposes. Report names need to be unique, so if you do copy someone’s, you need to change it in some way so that it’s unique. I’m going to go to my folder, which you’ll notice does not have a lock, and I’m going to select it. You’ll notice that I have a report here, and it is Cy 24 gifts by campaign. I’m actually going to go ahead and run the report so you can see what it looks like. There’s my filter. I can change that. We’re going to be doing all of that. And this is ultimately what we’ll end up with. There’s going to be a lot of data that feed into this, but this is what we’re going to have, and we’re going to put it on our dashboard. So let’s get started. I’m going to start from scratch. Oh, the other thing I wanted to share, the active window is going to have that blue underline. So always remember that you could have multiple windows open, but the one with the underline is the active window. So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to close it, and I’m going to begin by creating a new report. So I’m going to go to my folder and create a new advanced report. So the advanced report is the report we can use to create a chart. There are different types of reports you can run. Now you’ll notice that it’s in my folder, and I need to give it a name. So I’m going to call this Cy 24 gifts by campaign, and I’m going to put an underscore and my initials that gives it that unique name that I’m looking for. You can also add a description, right? So these are my Cy 24 gifts grouped by campaign and with solicitation, with solicitation, so I can actually see where those gifts come in. So this is going to be grouped by campaign, and then I’ll see each gift and the solicitation that brought that in. With regard to navigating through the report writer, you’ll notice at the bottom there are buttons, previous, next, cancel and finish. You don’t want to click finish until you are completely through, therefore I like to use the tabs at the top. So the tabs at the top are going to tell you exactly what you need to do and what they’re used for, and that’s what we’re going to go through today. So we’ve named the report. I’m going to now go to categories. So categories allow you to select. Protect the screens of data that contain the fields that you want in your report. So I want the donor’s name, I want the gift date, the gift amount, the solicitation and, of course, group by campaign. So because I need those fields, I’m going to go to the screens option, and I’m going to use donor and gift. So just think of this as you would be looking at DonorPerfect. Donor would be your main bio fields, and gifts would be your gift pledge fields. So I’m going to select it, and you’ll notice there’s an arrow. I can either click the arrow to move the field over or the screen over. And now I’m going to use the gift. I can double click and add it as well. We can also drag to move things around if we needed or wanted to. Now we have the donor, that’s going to be our names and all of that information. If we wanted to address this, we could include that and we have our gift. There’s a check box next to both, and this suppress duplicates option allows us to see the names one time. So in a gift report, as we well know if a donor has multiple gifts in a specific date range, we would see that donor name multiple times. Well, this report allows us to to suppress duplicates, so that if Donna gave a gift and gave multiple gifts, I would see my name and then I would be able to see those gifts without seeing the name several times. So we’re going to click on suppress duplicates. That’s cool. All right. Now the next option is sorts. So what are sorts? Sorts are the fields that determine the order of the data from top to bottom that you will see in the report that you can have in the report. Now you may not necessarily see the fields that you select here, but it is going to allow us to select the fields that we want. When you’re choosing your sort and you’re doing a grouping, you want to make sure that the field that you’re grouping by is the first field that you select. So because we are selected or grouping by campaign, we want to make sure we’re showing that campaign field first. On the side here, you’ll see, again, our drop down, because remember, we selected the donor and the gift screens. So under the donor, drop down, you’ll see, I’m sorry, under the donor, you’ll see all those main bio fields.
And if I go to gift, I’ll see all of my gift pledge fields. So because we want to group by campaign, I’m going to go in, excuse me. I can click on a field and start typing as soon as I start typing campaign, it goes right to the campaign field. Now, when you have multiple I’m sorry, when you have coded fields in DonorPerfect, it’s going to allow you to either use the code only, use the description only, or use the code plus the description. So for our demo, we’re going to do the description. So I’m going to just click and pop that right over there. Now the other fields that I want would include the gift amount, the gift date, the donor’s last and first name, and possibly the donor ID. So what I’m going to do, we’re going to see we want the gift amount. So again, we’re going to go into this field, and it is gift amount. So I’m just typing to get to the first instance of those fields, and now I’m going to pop that over. You’ll notice also, in each of the rows there are options for your sort order. So for my campaign grouping, I want to sort this in ascending order, or A to Z. For my gift amount, I want to sort in descending order. So instead of seeing 100 200 300 I’ll see 300 200 100 so I’m going to change this to descending order. The next field we want is the date of gift. And it is called date of gift here. So again, if I start typing date, I can double click and pop that date field in there. My date field, I want an ascending order, so January to December, and then I’m going to pick the last name, the first name. Name and the donor ID. So I’m going to go back to the donor screen, and I want the first name, last name. So again, I’m just typing there’s last name. I want first name. I’ll scroll up so you can see you can do it that way too, first name. And both of these are going to be in ascending order from A to Z, and then I want my donor ID. So the donor ID there, it is, okay, and that is also going to be an ascending order from one to 100 now that we have our sorts or the fields that we’re going to want in our report, now we’re going to go to our filters. So this is a really neat feature. It allows you to embed a filter into your report, and we have another function that’s going to allow us to prompt for value. So when you put this on your dashboard, you’re going to be able to change the date range if you want change the codes that you want to see, and all of that. So let’s begin first by determining which fields we want, and then we’re going to build our filter. So the first field I want is the gift date, the date of gift, once again, that’s on the gift screen, and I’m going to go to date of gift, and there. Now you’ll notice here, it’s my filter. So the Filter field is here, but the the way we combine our criteria will be down here. So the gift date I want a date range. If I click this drop down, you’ll see that I have all these great options I’m going to use is between now, in addition to adding the dates by clicking the date picker, I also have these functions available. So you’ll see the FX or function button, and this will allow me to use relative dates. So if I want to see gifts from the first day of the first last month and the last day of the next month. I can do that. These are really neat options for you to use. We’re just going to use the date picker, and we’re going to do actually, I’m going to type it a 101, 2024, and again, if you want to use the date picker, for example, I’m going to use today, which is today’s date, literally, today’s date. Now when we select that, you’ll notice this drop down determines my and or or so, because I want my results to respect all of the criteria that we’re going to have in here. I’m going to combine it with an and it also says and group with next filter. So I’m going to group that. And here is the option to prompt for value if you want a static report. This is the date range, and that’s the only one I want. I’m not going to change it. Then you can leave this prompt for value out. But if you want to be able to change your date range or some other criteria, you would select prompt for value. Now we’re going to select our next field, the next field that we want. And this is a very interesting field. It is called record type I’m going to go to the field now. The record type field lives on the gift screen. And if you ever take notice of your gifts, you’ll see in a in a monetary gift, it’ll say gift, record type gift, or if it’s a soft credit, it’ll say s or soft credit. So those record types are automatically applied to our gifts and pledges to let us know what type of gift it is or what type of record it is. So I want gift G gifts, right? My hard money, but guess what? We can include soft credits in here as well. So I’m going to use my record type and choose the option is one of. So this would be your multiple equals, right? So is one of and then we’ll see our codes in our list. We want G gift and s soft credits. If you wanted pledges, you could include the P, all right. Now that’s perfectly fine. We’re going to group this with the next filter, and now we’re going to go to campaign again, right? Because we want. To choose the campaigns we want to see. So again, I’m going to move that over, and again, we’re going to choose multiple campaigns. So I want to go ahead and do is one of your active codes will display. So I’m going to click the drop down. I want a C, 24 my monthly giving. And right below there, I know you can’t see it, but there is my shelter renovation campaign, and those are the three. Now I can also prompt for value here. So let’s say, for instance, I want that date range, but I want different campaigns. So this will allow me to make that selection when I go to run my report. All right. So those are the three criteria that we want. Now we’re going to go to the layout. So when you get to the layout, you’re going to see your sidebar again, with the fields you’re going to see, we’re going to be adding data fields here that will display here, and this the data fields that we sit place there will allow us to determine how they’re going to display and do some really cool, fun things. As I add a field. You’ll notice down here in the editor, the layout will display and show you what you have. So here’s what we’re going to do. I’m going to go to the donor drop down, and I want first name. All right, there’s first name, and I pop that over. And now you’ll see, in my report writer here, it’s coming up that’s going to be the first name field. Now, counter to what you might believe, I’m not going to add the last name field here, because, again, I want to show you some smart analytics magic.
So I have my first name. I also want the date of gift. So again, we’re going to switch from donor to gift, and we want date of gift, and that pops over. I want the gift amount. So that is gift amount. And once again, you’ll notice in these fields that I’m placing, there are some functions here that we can do. And here in this drop down, are what we call summary functions, so you can determine what those gift amounts are going to do. Do I want to sum? Do I want an average? Do I want to count of gifts, maybe by date or whatever, so I’m going to do a sum. I want a sum. Okay, next we’re going to choose solicitation, because I want to see that solicitation code, but I want the description, so we’re going to add that and there. So far, you’ll see what the report is going to look like. So far, it’s really kind of fun. Now you’ll see some other options here, the summarize by and my header and footer and grand total. So let’s talk about what they will do the summarize by is literally asking, how do we want to summarize the groupings? Well, we want to summarize it. I’m going to click gift. As soon as I do, you’ll see total for gift, but we need to tell it what we want it to total. So if I click on the gift option, you’ll see summarize by each unique gift. I can do it by campaign description, gift amount or gift date. So we’re going to summarize by each campaign description. So my annual campaign boom, I’ll get a subtotal. My monthly giving campaign, boom, I’ll get a subtotal and so on. Okay, and then here we have the page header. If I click on the Page Header gives you a couple of options. If you wanted to include an image at the top of every page, you could my page footer, I’m going to select that, and this is going to be a page number, and then I want the grand total. So in addition to each grouping for each summary, summary group, I am also going to get a total at the end of the report as well. All right, my apologies one second. Okay, all right, so now we’re going to finish. We’ve done all the things, and so now we’re going to click on Finish, and again, I am very much more comfortable in. By doing it here, as opposed to next, next, next. So now we’re going to click Finish. When we click Finish, now you’re going to get your I’m going to make this a little bit bigger so you can see, and you’ll see now I have these, this column here. These are my sections there. I have a page header. I have my header here. This is a group page header. I’m going to add a group header soon. You’ll see the detail. So there’s my the donor name, the gift date, Gift Amount, solicitation description in my footer, I’m going to have my sums, right? Remember, we’re doing the the sum for each grouping, and then my report footer at the end is going to be the sum of all of the gifts. I also will have a page number at the bottom in my page footer. So now we’re going to do some some smart analytics magic, and this is going to be really cool. What the first thing I’m going to do is go to my header here. I’m going to click and I’m going to add a section. When I click Add a section, I’m going to add a group header when I go to add the group header, it’s going to ask me, What do you want the group header to be? Well, I want it to be my gift campaign description. Okay, so that’s going to be the gift description. That’s going to be right in there. So you’ll see that in, in the field there, and I’m going to go ahead and add the field. I’m sorry. I’m going to, going to go ahead and do that. Alrighty. Now the first name. Why would we only want the first name? Well, we, we don’t really just want the first name, right? We want the first and last name. So I’m going to run this really quickly, just so you can see. And we recommend doing that so that you can see, you can you can see how you’re moving along, so you’ll see, I’m able to prompt for value. I can change my date, I can also change the campaign. Want to click one there, and now what we’ll see is just the first names. See that, and we see the solicitations, okay? But I want to see some other things.
So in this group header, I’m going to add the field so we have the fields that We want. We have our solicitation description, gift amount that we’re doing, the sum on now the summarize by when we click here, we’re going to check that, because we do want this to summarize or group by a specific field, and I bet you can guess what that is. So if I click on gift, it allows me to select how I want to summarize by each unique campaign description. I also want to add a space before each unique item. I want to include a header at the beginning of each item, and again, I want that to be my campaign description. And I also want to include the total at the end. So when I’ve made those changes, you’ll see now there is my first group and the total subtotal, next group, subtotal, and so on. I also want to include the page footer. See the Page Header is just going to be the page header. You can include an image. My page footer, in our case, is going to be a page number, and then I also want the grand total. So again, I’ll see the total for the report. Now that I’ve done that, I’m going to click on Finish, and now you will see the fields here. So again, you don’t want to click that Finish button until you’ve decided what needs to go in to the report. So now that I’m here, you’re going to see that I have my information displayed. I have the first name and all of that. Now one of the things that I’m going to do is I’m going to go to the first name field, and we’re going to bring those characters together. Oh, did it again? All right, so. So I have the campaign description, and I’m going to use this first name. Let me just run this so you can see what it looks like without the it’s just going to show the first names. Okay? And now again, we get to see, here’s my annual campaign. There’s Pedro with all of his gifts and so on, and now it’s decent, but it’s not exactly what I want. So we’re going to go and do some magic and fix some things. So the first thing I’m going to do is go to my this grouping field here, and I’m going to use the WYSIWYG editor. I’m going to change this to 14, and I’m going to make it bold, and I’m going to make the font color. It’s a beautiful day. I’m going to pick, oh, let’s do that. There we go. Alright, now the first name, we want the first and last name. So instead of having two separate fields, first name, last name, we’re going to what we call concatenate, the first and last name fields. And concatenate just means bring together. It’s just a fancy word for that. So in order to do that, I can do a couple of things, but I’m going to show you a pretty easy way. I’m going to right click on the field, and I’m going to choose Insert and formula. You’ll notice, this is my Formula Editor. On the left are the fields, and on the right are all of the functions. So I’m just going to make this a little bit bigger, see if we can see, there we go. Now you’ll see the field name in here in the side, here are all the different functions. Now I have to scroll down, because I’m looking for the one that says string. There it is string and I’m going to choose concatenate. So what I want to do is place my cursor in front of the field and double click to include concatenate. Now it’s saying, hey, this strings together information fields, right? So what I want to do now is go into right after the curly bracket. I’m going to put a comma, an apostrophe, a space, apostrophe and a comma. This will provide a space between the first and last name. And now I need to add a field. So I want that donor, and I’m going to look for last name, and I’m going to drag it right there, okay, and there it is. So now we have concatenated the first and last name. I click on okay. I’m going to do some things here. So I want my solicitation. Let’s bring this out. So I’m going to move this out. I am going to use my fields here. I’m going to do a format, the cells number. I want two decimal places, my decimal point. I’m going to use my comma for the 1000s separator, and I’m going to use my currency symbol, dollar. Great. I also want to make this a little bit bigger, and I want my solicitation field. I want this to be centered. Let’s do centered. And then here, Whoops, didn’t mean to do that. Uh oh, undo. Okay, there’s an undo button. So that’s a good thing. So I’m going to select these. And I want to do right, justify, actually, I can leave that there, where it was, or even centered. Okay, so those are some of the things that I’ve done. Let’s run the report again and see what we’ve got. And you want to keep doing this just to see if it is where you want it to be. Ah, this is looking much better. So you’ll see we have our full name, we have our gift amount. I still gotta fix that. I think I undid so I have to go back and do that. Fantastic. So again, I’m going to do this and Format Cells. Number. There it is two places, decimal and. And now we’re going to run. And again, as you see, it’s prompting me for the value. And there we are. So right now I have a pretty decent looking report all right. Now there are a whole lot of other things you can do, but I just wanted you to understand that these are the things you can do. And if I go, let me see if I go to another part of my report, let’s go to the back. So here’s my shelter renovation campaign, and you’ll see my subtotals, my totals, subtotals for each grouping. And we can define all of that and make it beautiful. That’s great. But now I want to get to the part where we actually go in and we make a chart out of this report. So back to here we go. And what I want to do in order to fit the chart in the bottom of the report, what I want to do is I want to go to the report footer. So let me just there we go, the report footer. So I’m going to select this right. There we go, and what I’m going to do is go to that and right click, and I’m going to insert rows after and I can continue doing this, insert rows after. You can do multiple so I’m going to do all three and insert rows after. So now I have a nice space here for that. I also want to that’s good. That’s what I want to do. Now. I don’t need these cells, because I need a full block for my chart. So what I’m going to do is click in the top left nine a, hold down my shift key and select 13 D, and that selects that whole piece. What I want to do from here is use this option merge cells, and now I have a nice space for my chart. Once I’ve done that, now I’m going to go ahead and insert the chart into these merge cells. So I’m going to right click. I’m going to click on Insert and chart. So you have an array of charts that you can use. There are so many you can get as fabulous as you want. We’re going to do a column chart. And again, this is a wizard, so I like to hang out up here, and we’re going to click on data. We’re going to indicate the data that we want on the x axis and the Y axis. So for the x, s, x axis, we’re going to use the gift campaign description, right? So we want to see annual campaign, monthly giving, campaign and so on. And then my series values.
We’re going to do our sums. We’re going to do our ag sums in the footer. Okay, you have other options here. We’re going to leave those alone. Today we’re going to go to appearance. So in the appearance you get to see there are, there’s a default which are like your your jewel tone colors, your primary colors, I would say. Or you can use the DonorPerfect colors. I’ll show you what that looks like. But let’s fix this first. So the chart title is Cy, 24 campaigns. My x axis title, it’s kind of hard to say. We’re going to say campaign, and the y axis is going to be the gift amounts, gift totals. Okay. And there we are. You can have point labels if you want. So if you want to see the values in the bar, we can do that. And I’m going to you can do 3d also, which is kind of neat. Now, if we go to size and preview, you’ll see what your report will look like, so you’ll have the actual values in the cell. So even though it’s showing you an odd, weird number, you would still be able to see the value in there, provided that the bar is high enough. And those are the DonorPerfect colors, all right. If you wanted to change it to 3d which I like too, you could do that to look like you’re fabulous, but we’re going to turn that off today, and everything looks great. I’m going to click on finish. So there now is my report. This is beautiful. It’s going to pull that data from the report to populate or make that chart. Come alive. So now what we want to do is this report you can save and run. As a matter of fact, let’s go ahead and run it so you can see what it looks like with the report. The chart in the report. Sorry about that. Okay, so let’s just go to the end. Let’s go to the previous page, and there is my chart, pretty neat. Now, again, we don’t have enough going on there to see the full number, but that is something that could certainly happen. All right, okay, so when I place this on my dashboard, I don’t really want to see all the details that are supplying the data for that, for that chart, we just want to see the chart. So here’s what we’re going to do.
We’re going to go to row one, and we’re going to go to row eight and we’re going to suppress rows. Okay, then I’m going to go down here and make sure everything else is suppressed as well. So now I won’t have that page number on the chart. It’s just going to show me that. Fantastic. So I’m going to save my report, and you’ll just one more time, so you can see now that I’ve suppressed all that, all those rows. Now I’m only going to get my chart, and this is what’s going to go on the dashboard. So let’s see how to do that. I’m going to go ahead and close my report, and I’m going to go back to my folder, I’m going to get my report, which was the DCM one, and I’m going to duplicate it. When I go to duplicate it, now I need to move it to where I want it to be. So I’m going to go to dashboard, I’m going to go to custom widgets, and I’m going to place the report right there. Okay, so let’s call this DC. I’ll call this dashboard dash. Oh, my, D, A, S, H, B, O, A, r, d, you have to have your fingers on the right keys. Okay. So there we are, all right. So now, if I scroll up and I go to the custom widgets, and I run my report. There it is. Oh, no, that’s not mine. Bear with me.
Widgets, all right, so there we go, and now we’re going to just run this so you can see what it looks like. Okay, there’s my filter. I’ve run it, and there are my numbers. So let’s go ahead and put it on our dashboard. So we’ve done all the building, we’ve done all the great stuff we need to do, but what we need to do now is go ahead and move that onto our dashboard. How do we do that? I’m going to close this, and now I’m going to go back to reports and dashboard. I’m going to place it on the My Dashboard view. That’s where we recommend that you place it. Okay, and you see I saved a little space here for my report. And I’m going to click on Edit in the My Dashboard view. So So I click on edit and I’m going to add a widget so that my report will display here, right? So here we are, fantastic. Now I’m going to bring this down just a little bit and see this new tile option. Going to drag that over to that spot. I can make it bigger I want. And what I want to do is select existing report. Once I do that, it’s going to allow me to grab my widgets, so I’m going to go to custom widgets, and I’m going to choose Cy gifts by campaign. And okay, now when this widget is selected, you’ll see some options in order. Filter to make sure you’re able to change your filter, what you want to do is go to filter, and you’re going to click the drop down next to date of gift, and you’re going to apply to the report, and you’re going to ask it to prompt for value. You can also go to the campaign option, apply it to just the report and prompt for value, meaning, if you ever want to change that, you’re going to be able to change the filter. Once you’re done, we click on save, we go back and review or take a look at our new view, and you’ll see the filter pops up automatically. So now I can change the date, if I want, I can change the options, and now I’m going to click on OK, and here are my options, and you’ll see the numbers in them. Now you can change the font colors and all of that, but this is how you are able to get a chart on your dashboard. Imagine how helpful this will be for you and your colleagues. I uh. So some tips to remember. Create a mock up of your report, kind of map it out, design how you want it to look on paper before you go in and do it. And that will help you pick the options that you want. Know, which field you want included in the report. Again, if you’re doing names, addresses, gifts and all of that. You want to be sure to include those screens so you can pick those particular fields you want to save and run the report periodically to review your progress, if you’ll be grouping your data, that will be the first sort on that grouped field. When you’re using dates and filters, consider using those functions, right? That’s really neat. Would you love to see gifts last fiscal year and just have it as a filter like that? Be neat when you if you want to look at a certain I’m sorry if you wanted to look a certain way, there are options in there for you to format your data. So I’m hoping that you have thought of some ways that help to have smart analytics help you in your data and how you are using the data in DonorPerfect. So to recap, smart Analytics is a robust Report Writer where you choose the data you want to analyze. It’s a report add on if you’re interested, you want to contact your client account manager. You are the author of the report, and the ideas are endless.
