My name is Bob Belknap, and I’m the Vice President of Development for the American Printing House for the Blind. We’re a national 158 year old organization that provides books, materials, education aids to blind students across the United States. We use to Razor’s Edge before converting to DonorPerfect. And one of the reasons that we’re converting to DonorPerfect is because the incompatibility with razor’s edge with Windows 10, in our new office system, so obviously, they have NXT. But we did not want to go to that platform. So we started looking around for a new donor database, and liked everything that we saw from the DonorPerfect platform. So we started the conversion process. A couple of weeks ago, I came to the conference and learned a lot of information. It looks like it’s going to be a very good fit for our organization. There’s a lot of bells and whistles that we didn’t have with razor’s edge that we we really like especially the mobility platform, the opportunity to do a direct import, with Constant Contact, and then the EFP EFT conversion where we can basically take online donations that goes right into the DonorPerfect system, we basically do one fundraising event, and that’s a mini marathon marathon. So that’s something that has been hard to integrate in the past that we think with the donor, perfect platform, and web link, we’ll be able to do a lot more with that this year. We do annual appeals, we have a direct mail house that we work with. And there’s some things that we think the reporting system that DonorPerfect has, especially with the new EZ Report Writer, that we’ll be able to get the information that our direct mail house needs in more of a timely manner for them, and be able to drill down a little bit more and give them actually more information so that our campaign will be better segment. implementation process has been has been great. We’re assigned. An implementation coordinator is name is Ryan Cox. And so far, we’ve been in constant contact three or four times a week. I think everything is going great. We haven’t had any, any glitches so far. Like the client conference is an eye opening experience. We’ve used other databases in the past. So I’ve worked with Salesforce aim. And obviously razor’s edge. The thing that I am taking away from this conference, is the willingness of DonorPerfect to look at itself and say, how do we want to be better? What can we do to provide our clients a better platform, or donations? I’ve heard that over and over and every one of the sessions that I’ve been in most organizations would not take that hard of a look at themselves and say, they wouldn’t even ask the question, what do you what do you want to improve in DonorPerfect, but I’ve seen it over and over again, at this conference, that there is a willingness to help the clients build a better platform for donations, do your due diligence, there are many, many donor platforms out there, but go online. And there is a website that it basically compares donor platforms and DonorPerfect, has by far the better platform if you’re looking at a very robust with bells and whistles and the ability to to develop your own screen design so that you have the fields that you need. Its implement, you know, the interrogate raisin with constant contact is is a great field for us web link so that you can design your own web pages. I think those are are things that that every nonprofit is looking for. So I would say do your due diligence, but definitely contact DonorPerfect and do the free trial.
